Our Zero-Storage Architecture represents a paradigm shift in how online image processing services should operate. Traditional cloud-based converters upload your files to persistent storage, process them, and often retain copies for hours, days, or even indefinitely. Our architecture eliminates these risks entirely by design.
When you upload an image to TajukOpiniTools, it is written directly to encrypted volatile memory (RAM), never touching persistent disk storage. Our ImageMagick processing engine operates on this memory-resident data. Upon successful delivery—or after a maximum timeout of 60 seconds—both source and output files are overwritten with null data and memory is released back to the system.
Data Integrity and Security Measures
Beyond our Zero-Storage policy, we implement multiple layers of security to ensure data integrity during the brief processing window. All memory allocations use AES-256 encryption keys that are generated per-session and destroyed immediately after use. Network communications are secured via TLS 1.3.
Metadata Stripping for Complete Anonymization
Digital images often contain embedded metadata that can reveal sensitive information: GPS coordinates, camera serial numbers, creation timestamps, and even user names. Our processing pipeline automatically strips all EXIF, IPTC, and XMP metadata from your images during conversion.

At the application level, PHP's garbage collection immediately releases memory after the download stream completes. At the system level, a cron job runs every minute to scan for and overwrite any residual temporary files. At the hardware level, our servers use SSDs with TRIM support.
